Residential Care Services

The Courts will place young girls at Kujali where they are destitute, unable to care for themselves, or where their parents are unable to care for them (for example they may be in jail or hospital).  They can be placed for short periods (up to six months) or, under some circumstances, until they are eighteen.

During their time at Kujali, the girl’s healthcare needs are addressed, and their education continues.  All the girls that stay at Kujali are educated in state schools so that the transition following their reintegration is as smooth as possible.
